Advantages of filming in Colombia:
40% Cash Rebate On Audiovisual Services And 20% On Logistics
(Law 1556 -1)
With the support of the Colombia Film Fund (FFC), get rebates (Cash Rebate) of 40% on audiovisual services and 20% on logistics when spending at least 1,800 minimum wages (approximately USD 520,000) in the country for your series, short films, and feature films projects. It is worth noting that the maximum compensation value that each project can access per year is defined annually by the Colombia Film Promotion Committee (CPFC), and for 2023, it was $3,500,000,000 pesos (approximately USD 875,000).
35% In Transferable Tax Credit
(Law 1556 – 2)
Audiovisual Investment Certificates (CINA) grant up to 35% of your investment, now expanding their scope to include films, TV series, Music videos, Video Games post-production projects, and audiovisual advertising production. The CINA, negotiable and deductible certificates for income tax, represent a net return of 33.25%, with no limits on their issuance per project. These scalable incentives offer a solid financial backing for your creative vision.
